Today is the second best day of the year. You see, the best day of the year is opening day, and the second best is game one of the World Series, which begins tonight.

I miss him already. I watched Biggio play the final game of his career and as an Astro last Sunday. I could tell that he was pretty emotional, which made me sad as well. I've watched him play catcher, 2nd base, center field, and 2nd base again for 20 years. I have a hard time remembering the Astros before Biggio. It will be weird watching the Astros next season without him, but as long as there are nine players on the field, one in the box, one on deck, and one in the hole then i'll be fine.
